Mr. Gerber is the Head of Private Equity for CCG. Prior to joining CCG Mr. Gerber was a Senior Project Manager at the Public Investment Corporation (PIC), a R700 billion pension fund administrator. At the PIC Mr. Gerber managed a private equity portfolio in excess of R20 billion and led investments in multiple sectors. He led disposals of assets that amounted to R1.8 billion.
Prior to the PIC Mr. Gerber worked for Vunani Capital as a Senior Deal executive. Before that he worked at ABSA Bank in the structured products division and prior to that, he served his articles at KPMG.
Mr. Gerber is a Chartered Accountant with an Advanced Tax Certificate and a higher diploma in International Taxation. Mr. Gerber is also a CFA charterholder.
