CCG‘s Corporate Social responsibility work includes support of various organizations including providing medication and food to two children’s homes in Zambia.  CCG also supports the work of the Africa Forum acting as Senior Advisor to the former African Heads of State.  In that capacity CCG has developed the Harmonization of African Societies Project which seeks to assist 14 African countries in post conflict development.

Overview of the Africa Forum

  • The Africa Forum currently has 34 members from 19 different countries (8 West African, 6 East African, 1 North African and 4 Southern African countries)
  • Membership of the Forum is open to: former African Heads of State and Government with democratic credentials; former UN Secretaries General; Former OAU Secretaries General; Former Chairpersons of the AU Commission; and Former Presidents of the African Development Bank
  • The Chairman of the Forum is H.E. Joaquim Chissano. The Patron of the organisation is H.E. Nelson Mandela. Other notable members include: Mr. Kofi Annan, Mr. Boutros Boutros-Ghali, H.E. Dr. Kenneth Kaunda, and H.E. Nicephore Soglo
  • The Forum harnesses the in-depth institutional knowledge, experience and insight of its members to help client nations plan and execute: key strategies; post-conflict reconstruction activities; and the building of capable states.
